摘要: Theoretical simulations of vertical Bridgman growth cadmium zinc telluride are performed to study the effects accelerated crucible rotation technique (ACRT). The results indicate that thermal buoyancy has a dramatic effect on flow, even in relatively small system at high rate, contrary assertions made recent papers by Liu et al. (J. Crystal Growth 219 (2000) 22). We demonstrate their prior greatly overstate effectiveness ACRT promoting mixing. Contrary conventional wisdom, cycle considered here for small-scale actually suppresses mixing melt near ampoule wall, resulting diffusion-limited mass transport there.
