摘要: Background IL-25 has been proposed to play a key role in the pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP). This study aimed evaluate association Th2-biased inflammatory profiles CRSwNP. Methods Nasal polyp (NP) tissues and control uncinate process were collected from 92 patients CRSwNP, 20 without (CRSsNP), 16 normal subjects. expression was examined using immunohistochemistry immunofluorescence staining, flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, ELISA. The clinical characteristics 2 NP subtypes (IL-25high IL-25low ) evaluated, effects on Th2 cytokine production cultured dispersed cells vitro. Results mRNA protein levels significantly increased compared tissues. IL-25high subtype showed greater computed tomography scores, endoscopic response. Exposure activated type innate lymphoid simultaneously which further Conclusions Local plays crucial promoting may serve as promising therapeutic target CRSwNP patients.
