摘要: Objective Based on results of in vitro studies, it has been hypothesized that blockade the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) promotes recruitment and differentiation pre-adipocytes increased formation small insulin-sensitive adipocytes counteracts ectopic deposition lipids, thereby improving insulin sensitivity. We investigated effect RAS sensitivity, adipocyte size, intramuscular lipid content fructose-fed rats (FFR) as a model insulin-resistant hypertension. Design methods Six-week-old male Sprague-Dawley were divided into two groups: those fed standard chow (control) fructose-rich for 6 weeks. FFR treated with vehicle or 1 mg/kg per day temocapril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, 0.1 olmesartan, angiotensin II type receptor blocker, last 2 Insulin sensitivity (M value: min) was estimated by euglycemic hyperinsulinemic glucose clamp method. Sizes derived from epididymal fat triglyceride soleus muscle determined. Results had lower M value, higher blood pressure, larger ratio pads over body weight (%fat pads), than did control rats. Both temocapril olmesartan significantly improved value decreased pressure size without change %fat FFR. Adipocyte negatively correlated value. Treatment weeks decreased, but not significantly, triglyceride. Conclusions decreases accompanied improvement
