摘要: Abstract Attempts have been made to understand the thermal degradation of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and their combined co-cracking using different ratios HDPE petroleum wax under nitrogen atmosphere. We conducted experiments as raw material co-feed by at 400 450 °C reaction temperatures. The product distribution was noted along with time 0.5–3 h for degradation. Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) technique used measure weight change feedstock a function temperature time. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) determine temperature. Products were characterized gas chromatography (GC) infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), some other standard physical methods main properties liquid products. Results show that mixed plastic-wax samples could be converted into gases, gasoline, middle distillate depending upon composition feed polymer/wax ratio. It found products mostly consisted paraffin olefin compounds, carbon numbers C1–C4, C5–C9 C10–C19 in case gasoline respectively.
