摘要: Abstract Nickel-substituted mica montmorillonite (NiSMM) is of particular interest as a catalyst for the hydroisomerization and hydrocracking paraffins. An important pretreatment step this its reduction in hydrogen. Temperature-programmed X-ray diffraction show that palladium promotes formation zero-valent nickel. Infrared spectra ammonia adsorbed onto NiSMM reveal also increases number acid sites. Removal metallic nickel from reduced (not containing palladium) by carbon monoxide destroys pentane activity, while leaving sites unchanged. Apparently, alone are not capable isomerizing pentane, presence metal function being necessary.
