摘要: Abstract Four strains of cucumber mosaic virus were studied in an attempt to determine the reasons for differences efficiency their transmission by Myzus persicae . Two strains, Wis. 102 and C-1, transmitted efficiently from tobacco tobacco, while MCJ 14 rarely transmitted. was always present lower concentrations plant than other strains. Strain as high a concentration both epidermal whole leaf tissue. Tests with leaves systemically infected different periods showed trends transmissibility aphids. For two readily transmissible rose rapidly remained at relatively constant level. The strain either patterns. In some experiments no or extremely low occurred any time. others, period 1–3 days, after which it not all. There correlation between aphid transmissibility. transmitted, Purified purified indicating that itself is intrinsically transmissible.
