摘要: Abstract Genomic instability consists of a range genetic alterations within the genome that contributes to tumor heterogeneity and drug resistance. It is well-established characteristic most cancer cells. Genome induction results from defects in DNA damage surveillance mechanisms, mitotic checkpoints repair machinery. Accumulation ultimately sets cells towards malignant transformation. Recent studies suggest miRNAs are key players mediating instability. class small RNAs expressed somatic tissues part epigenome. Importantly, many cancers, miRNA expression dysregulated. Consequently, this review examines role dysregulation as causal step for subsequent carcinogenesis. We focus specifically on mechanistic assessing miRNA(s) specific subtypes or known modes In addition, we provide insight existing knowledge gaps field possible ways address them.
