摘要: Cold collisions of light molecules are often dominated by a single partial wave resonance. For the rotational quenching HD ($v=1$, $j=2$) with ground state para-${\mathrm{H}}_{2}$, process is $L=2$ resonance centered around 0.1 K. Here, we show that this can be switched on or off simply appropriate alignment angular momentum relative to initial velocity vector, thereby enabling complete control collision outcome.
