摘要: In this chapter, detailed magnetic studies of soil profiles Planosols, Pozdols, Andosols, Ferralsols, and Gleysols give an overview the diversity sensitivity properties to various environmental settings. The signature three Planosol consistently demonstrates nonsynchronous distribution different grain-size fractions along depth, related specific hydrologic regimen. Podzols, despite being dominated by amorphous iron oxide forms, show in their presence a magnetically soft stable (single-domain) mineral component pedogenic origin. Magnetism though lithology-inherited fraction, could also be used for characterization. highly weathered tropical Ferralsols can regarded as ultimate expression transformations under oxic conditions but needs further elucidation. Magnetic demonstrate effects reductive dissolution oxides soils.
