摘要: Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is etiologically associated with sarcoma (KS), the most common AIDS-related malignancy. KSHV vIL-6 promotes KS development, but exact mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we reported that enhanced expression of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) in endothelial cells, increased global genomic methylation, and promoted cell proliferation migration. And this effect could be blocked by inhibitor, 5-azadeoxycytidine. We also showed induced up-regulation DNMT1 was dependent on STAT3 activation. Therefore, present study suggests plays a role tumorigenesis partly activating inducing aberrant it might potential target for therapy.
