摘要: Although there are numerous time synchronization algorithms recently proposed for terrestrial wireless sensor networks, none of these could be directly applied to underwater acoustic networks. This is because they typically assume that the propagation delay negligible, which not case in underwater. Furthermore, nodes tend have some degree mobility due wind or ocean current, complicates problem even more by introducing time-varying delay.In this paper, we propose a cluster-based algorithm mobile called "MU-Sync". Our design avoids frequent re-synchronization estimating both clock skew and offset. As networks experience long delay, previous works estimate using single least square error linear regression inaccurate. In MU-Sync, estimated performing twice over set local information gathered through message exchanges. The first enables cluster head offset effect varying delay; second turn obtains With help MAC-level stamping, can further reduce nondeterministic errors commonly encountered those rely on
