摘要: A study was designed to evaluate effects of 4 dosage levels (0, 50, 250, or 1,250 mg) daily iodine supplementation on cell-mediated and humoral immune mechanisms in 40 calves, 10 per group, for a 6-month period. Immune inflammatory responses were measured by titers brucella, leptospira, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus vaccinations, stimulation lymphocyte mitoses with poke-weed, phytohemagglutinin (PHA), conconavalin mitogens, intradermal PHA responses, vitro phagocytosis Candida albicans WBC, total WBC counts. Calves given mg had significant (P = less than 0.05) decreases persistence antibody brucella leptospira organisms, mitotic activity, injection induration, fed at 50 250 tended have decreased leptospiral titers, mitoses, compared controls. Seemingly, large amounts dietary interfere titer maintenance some antigens, DNA synthesis, phagocytic activity WBC.
