摘要: The ability to uniquely associate a human fingerprint with an individual has become essential part of personal identification for security purposes and law enforcement. This article presents approach recognition based on circularly sampling the around easily identified center fingerprint. Three matching metrics are presented compared fingerprints no peculiarities, missing area, rotation those in database. optimum metric, referred as angular density, was seven times better self match than mismatch, even when rotated or altered by erasing some its area.
