摘要: Background While online-only courses can be delivered without constraints of geography or synchronization lecture times, traditional in-person lectures continue to central teaching and student experiences at most universities. Hybrid learning fill the gap between, providing convenience schedule flexibility while maintaining face-to-face experience. The CUNY Graduate School Public Health Policy Hunter College are urban campuses that draw working students from a wide commuting area, leading us experiment with hybrid course formats offer maximum degree students. Methods Lectures lab sessions were held on campus in style, but streamed live over YouTube remote attendees able type questions have them answered by instructor real time, later made available for viewing. Results Through post-course survey we found divided their preferences (46%) versus synchronous asynchronous online (35% 19%, respectively). In hypothetical scenario retaking course, option attending each either was preferred (69% this format, 11% only another only). Although long work family responsibilities common, interactivity preference important considerations regardless decision attendance. Analysis viewing data showed majority participation occurring during lectures, an additional peak all immediately before exams. Conclusions We format viable popular way accommodate diverse personal circumstances within framework format.
