摘要: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes cancer-related deaths worldwide. Although recent advances in therapeutic approaches for treating HCC have improved prognoses patients with HCC, this cancer still associated a poor survival rate mainly due to late diagnosis. Therefore, diagnosis must be made sufficiently early perform curative and effective treatments. There need deeper understanding molecular mechanisms underlying initiation progression because these are critical making diagnoses developing novel strategies. Over past decade, much progress has been elucidating hepatocarcinogenesis. In particular, next-generation sequencing technologies revealed numerous genetic alterations, including recurrently mutated genes dysregulated signaling pathways HCC. A better alterations could contribute identifying potential driver mutations discovering targets future. article, we summarize current research on genomic instability, single-nucleotide polymorphisms, somatic deregulated pathways, implicated We also attempt elucidate some that molecularly targeted therapies
