摘要: Abstract Solar distillation investigations at the Sea Water Conversion Laboratory, University of California, began in January 1952 and have continued to present time. These studies led development still units relatively small size, designed for furnishing potable water isolated residences or communities. Designs been completed using wooden frames, precast concrete styrofoam basins. This paper gives information on construction performance several units; indicates need more effective utilization solar energy; offers a conceptual design collector low-pressure steam operation seawater plant advanced with capacity 10,000 U.S. gal. (37·85 m 3 ) per day.
