摘要: Abstract Indeed, the relative strength of specific ion effect on macromolecule/biomacromolecules increases with increasing concentration. However, utilization high concentration may lead to aggregation or precipitation macromolecule/biomacromolecule. Therefore, in present study, we provided a potential alternative method tune strengths “salting-in” and “salting-out” effects Hofmeister series anions coil-globule transition poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) by using crown ether, 18-crown-6 (18-C-6) as crowding agent. The ionic liquids (ILs) having same cation, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium (Bmim+) commonly used such CH3COO−, Cl− I− were selected explore PNIPAM crowded environment 18-C-6. Our experimental results (differential scanning calorimetry, hydrodynamic radius, fluoresce intensity, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy) demonstrated that salting-out exerted kosmotropic anion, is strengthened, while salting-in chaotropic I−, weakened presence from study certainly provide an without salt
