摘要: Simultaneous occurrence of Pc5 geomagnetic pulsations is studied using high time resolution data (sampled every 10 see) from the Scandinavian IMS Magnetometer Array and North American Network. Although pulsation activity longitudinally localized in most cases, an event with exceptionally coherent similar wave form on both dawn dusk sides was observed 1500 to 1600 UT, Sep. 27, 1978. The oscillation also at low latitude stations. We analyze this further detail by adding ISEE-3 satellite interplanetary space, geostationary satellites, GOES-2 -3. These show that occurred under such a peculiar solar wind condition as stable northward, anti-Parker IMF direction, speed (∼620 km/sec). correspondence between variation ground dynamic pressure found. likely source magnetospheric cavity resonance generated increases wind.
