摘要: It is important to carefully evaluate self-reported symptoms in athletes with known or suspected concussions. This article presents data on the psychometric and clinical properties of a commonly used concussion symptom inventory-the Post-Concussion Scale. Normative are presented for large samples young men (N = 1,391) women 355). In addition, gathered from concussed sample 260) seen within 5 days injury presented. These groups represent both high school collegiate athletes. Data subsample 52 3 times post-injury illustrate reporting patterns during initial recovery period. General guidelines use scale provided.
