摘要: This paper reflects upon the development and increased acceptance for heritage becoming a key component of sport tourism research. The original typology, as posited by Ramshaw Gammon [2005, More than just Nostalgia? Exploring heritage/sport nexus. Journal Sport & Tourism, 10(4), 229–241], is re-examined through more critical lens, revealing additional dimensions that help augment its components. specifically, it argued future studies should consider intangible features heritage, well acknowledging expanding global nature impact fandom. Also, case made research to explore dissonance inherent in much sports determining where power lies allocating championing current heritages. Lastly, general implications field are offered with particular regard motivation, place, consumption.
