摘要: Decades of research have seen single-phase boost-type pulse-width modulation converters be employed as front-end power factor correction (PFC) rectifiers in commercial supplies. The benefits employing this technology to comply with quality standards while assuring high efficiency, low volume, and weight been observed. However, paper shows that further efforts can driven toward new topologies. In context, novel rectifier circuits are introduced. These able double or triple the ripple frequency present at input components. Furthermore, a utilization switches is observed during both positive negative grid half-cycles. theoretical analysis proposed topologies well their operation PFC applications presented different modes comparison state-of-the-art presented. Finally, experimental verification doubling switching 1-kW prototype current self-control strategy.
