The status of Iranian hospital pharmacies according to age-friendly pharmacies criteria

摘要: Due to the increasing elderly population and subsequent increase in their need for medication more referrals pharmacy, this study was conducted investigate Iranian hospital pharmacies terms of age-friendliness criteria. This a cross-sectional 2017. The included 3 metropolitan selected through clustered sampling, all 67 were by census. Data collection tool reliable researcher-made checklist (t = 0.85, α 0.9) analysis performed using Kruskal-Wallis test Mann-Whitney SPSS version 24. results these three cities showed that only two high level age-friendly. relationship between type pharmacy final score age-friendly situation no significant relationship. There among average studied cities. aging society, readiness provide services will be one most challenging issues long term. With proper legislation policies on health-care systems, especially pharmacies, physical psychological problems can reduced future. Furthermore, with advancing toward community empower become ready encountering problems.
