Improvement of AODV Routing Protocol with QoS Support in Wireless Mesh Networks

摘要: Abstract The Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a newly developed wireless network which supports broadband and high speed multimedia service, so the Quality-of-Service (QoS) must be guaranteed by network. In this paper, new QoS-aware routing protocol based on AODV named QAODV (QoS- AODV) proposed. Under premise of delay available bandwidth meeting QoS demands, defines route metric with hop count load rate as to select best according it. Simulation results show that, compared AODV, performance better both throughput end-to-end small increase control overhead. As whole, improves guarantee capability in WMN.
