摘要: This study aims to identify process-response relationships between pedogeomorphological processes and the spatial distribution of soil properties on a hillslope. Thirty-two physical chemical attributes 502 samples collected from 64 profiles hillslope in Somerset, UK, were analyzed using an ordination technique. Five factors explaining 80% total variation first identified. Each factor was then regressed with terrain examine influence geomorphometry distributions. Two-way ANOVA used separate variance individual into vertical lateral components, results compared ordination. The five interpreted as demonstrating effects podzolization, nutrient dynamics, Mn leaching, erosion weathering, acidification. ability predict over landscape information varies widely among measured. In general, topsoil are better correlated than subsoil properties. Contemporary pedological geomorphological most active surface horizon, which clear differentiation For subsurface soils, only those few that showed pattern could be successfully modeled attributes. research demonstrates dear differences mainly determined by differential involvement situ pedogenesis slope processes. Future soil-landscape modeling attempts should pay more attention selection interpretation statistical relation dynamics.
