摘要: Bipolar I affective disorder is a of mood characterized by periods mania and depression. During the manic phase, patient feels elated, euphoric, ecstatic, and/or irritable, along with associated symptoms pressured speech, racing thoughts, distractibility, agitation or overactivity, decreased need for sleep, inflated self-esteem grandiosity, excessive involvement in pleasurable activities. In order to meet criteria mania, must have this at least 1 week. depressive depressed, sad, low, down dumps, fearful, anxious, diminished interest pleasure, anorexia weight loss increased appetite gain, insomnia hypersomnia, psychomotor retardation agitation, fatigue, feelings worthlessness guilt, hopelessness, inability concentrate recurrent thoughts death, suicidal ideation, suicide attempts. These occur period 2 weeks.
