摘要: This chapter examines how religious involvement affects physical health and influences longevity. If religiosity has any effect on mental social health, then it ought to influence as well, since our bodies minds are intimately interconnected, the latest research in mind–body medicine psychoneuroimmunology is showing. We review here Muslim populations relationships between heart disease, hypertension, stroke, Alzheimer’s diabetes, metabolic disorders, cancer, immune function, endocrine perceptions of overall mortality. Besides examining with religiosity, we also compare Muslims non-Muslims studies fasting during Ramadan disease management.
