摘要: The global electricity industry faces many challenges that require immediate attention to growth, expansion and diversity into renewable energy resources such as wind. A major strategic effort is required from power enterprises in developed developing countries alike, deal with the increasing grid complexity integrate diverse resources, including intermittency of wind, systems. This concern for dependency, delivery costs brings increased safety risks more constraints reliable operation Smart Grids (SG) has become one key developments solve these problems. In this paper, present situation India discussed prospective options are outlined. effects SG development on social, economic sectors discussed. main obstacles implementation highlighted their remedies proposed. possible framework architecture design SG-features outlined, considering practical constraints. recent initiatives taken by Government (GoI) related smart grids described. Considering economical, political environmental circumstances, paper suggests a strategy steps implement India.
