摘要: Blunt abdominal trauma (BAT) is a frequent emergency and associated with significant morbidity mortality in spite of improved recognition, diagnosis management. Trauma the second largest cause disease accounting for 16% global burden. The World Health Organization estimates that, by 2020, will be first or leading years productive life lost entire world population. This study endeavors to evaluate 71 cases BAT stress on early management, increase use non operative time presentation patients. A retrospective analysis patients who were admitted Kempegowda Institute Medical Sciences hospital (KIMS, Bangalore, India) within span 18 months was done. Demographic data, mechanism trauma, management outcomes studied. Most our age group 21-30 an M:F ratio 3.7:1. Motor vehicle accident (53%) most common injury. Spleen commonest organ injured surgery performed splenectomy (30%). extra injury rib fracture 20%. Mortality rate 4%. Wound sepsis (13%) complication. Initial resuscitation measures, thorough clinical examination correct forms vital part 70% splenic, liver renal injuries can managed conservatively where as hollow organs need laparotomy cases. has lot do outcome. Early prompt treatment save many lives.
