摘要: We present an update on the development of technologies required for Zero Emission Carbon (ZEC) concept being pursued by ZECA Corporation. The has a highly integrated design involving hydrogasification, calcium oxide driven reforming step that includes simultaneous C02 separation, coal compatible fuel cells electricity production and heat recovery, closed loop gas system in which contaminants are removed either as liquids or solids. process does not involve any combustion such neither smokestack nor air emissions. An independent assessment Nexant, Bcchtel affiliated company, suggests net efficiency approximately 70% conversion higher value energy into electrical output. This is even after penalties carbon dioxide separation pressurization to 1000 psi taken account. For sequestration variety options considered, include enhanced oil recovery near-term mineral carbonation long-term approach. report our early results sulfur tolerant anode materials solid cells; critical analysis - carbonate cycle; trace element removal; recent hydrogasification tests.
