摘要: Eichhornia azurea and E. crassipes are the most frequent dominants of aquatic vegetation in floodplain Upper Rio Parana Brazil. Morphological traits samples collected at sites where they dominated were measured compared between types identified floodplain. Total leaf weight, specific area to root weight ratio total dry plant differed significantly from 1999. Pearson correlation coefficients indicated a number significant relationships morphological environmental variables. Five increased linearly with water depth four clarity. The also sediment iron calcium content. respectively quadratically related euphotic proportion column. while remainder decreased phosphorus
