摘要: Geological processes, such as burial, can lead to remagnetization in rocks due neoformed magnetic minerals that have passed a critical volume, called blocking volume. In this study, we designed heating experiment for claystones obtained from the Paris Basin (France), 50-130°C temperature range, order simulate 20 nm and ∼20 respectively. This result led us propose conceptual model of nucleation-and-growth process magnetite during low grade burial ∼2 ∼4 km depth. Ultrafine (≤20 nm) was predominant over single domain (>20 <4 Transposed natural conditions, our steps suggested claystone-type are remagnetized burial. For temperatures higher than 200°C, extrapolation results indicated remagnetization, chemical remanent magnetization, might be larger magnetization. © 2012. American Geophysical Union.
