摘要: Chronoamperometry is known to be an efficient way form electroactive biofilms (EAB) on conductive electrodes. For the first time, tropical mangrove sediments are analyzed as a potential inoculum MFC anodes with use of acetate substrate. The performance EAB-coated carbon cloth electrodes evaluated according maximal current density, coulombic efficiency and cyclic voltammogramms. Working (WE) polarized at −0.2 V/SCE gave better results compared −0.4 0.0 V/SCE. density attained was 12 A/m2 CE 24%. Contributions EAB in generation were discussed mechanisms electronic transfer by bacteria discussed. Epifluorescence SEM images showed evolution electrode surface heterogeneity structure.
