摘要: For optimal quality, memory CD8 + T cells require CD4 cell help. We have examined whether CD27 to deliver this help, in a model of intranasal OVA protein immunization. deficiency reduced the capacity support Ag-specific accumulation at tissue site after primary and secondary CD27-dependent help for response was delivered during priming. It did not detectably affect formation cells, but promoted their expansion. improved survival primed its contribution relied on altered quality rather than quantity. induced Th1-diagnostic gene expression profile which included membrane molecule MS4A4B. Accordingly, increased frequency IFN-γ- IL-2-producing cells. CD40L expression. Strikingly, MS4A4B also identified as unique marker that had received CD27-proficient response. This apparent imprinting effect suggests role downstream effector memory.
