摘要: Left-handers occur at unexpectedly high frequencies top levels of many interactive sports. This may either because left-handed contestants are innately superior or they enjoy a negatively frequency-dependent strategic advantage when rare relative to right-handers. We analysed the batting records from 2003 cricket World Cup and showed that batsmen were more successful than right-handers, most teams had close 50% batsmen. demonstrate this was have over bowlers, is greatest bowlers unaccustomed bowling left-handers. provides clear mechanism for negative success Our results also support historical role in fights other contests maintenance left-handedness by natural selection.
