摘要: This paper is the first to model consistent location conjectures under spatial price discrimination. With linear production cost, well-known association of discrimination with efficiency vanishes as duopolists collocate at center. convex do not but continue locate closer center than Nash conjectures. Yet, sufficient cost convexity, this movement can actually increase welfare relative Nash. We extend results costs multiple private firms.
