摘要: The immune response relies on the migration of leukocytes and their ability to stop in precise anatomical locations fulfil task. How leukocyte function are coordinated is unknown. Here we show that immature dendritic cells, which patrol environment by engulfing extracellular material, cell antigen capture antagonistic. This antagonism results from transient enrichment myosin IIA at front, disrupts back-to-front gradient motor protein, slowing down locomotion but promoting capture. We further highlight front requires MHC class II-associated invariant chain (Ii). Thus, controlling localization, Ii imposes cells an intermittent behaviour might facilitate patrolling. propose requirement for II both specific functions may provide a general mechanism coordination time space.
