A rapid immunochromatographic assay for hepatitis B virus screening.

摘要: Simple, rapid and accurate assays for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) e (HBeAg) are helpful clinical diagnosis field epidemiological surveys. A commercially developed, immunochromatographic test simultaneous detection of HBsAg HBeAg was evaluated using a total 2463 selected samples (827 frozen sera, 1011 fresh 625 whole blood samples). Results the were compared with standard enzyme immunoassay (EIA) methods detection. The accuracy excellent similar sera blood. overall sensitivity specificity 95 100%, corresponding positive negative predictive values 100 99.7%, respectively. slightly less than that HBsAg, 80 98%, 91 94%, Thus, EIA method, highly sensitive although somewhat specific HBeAg. Because its speed, simplicity flexibility, is ideally suited screening in population-based studies low risk populations, particularly regions world where endemic.
