Operation for old sternoclavicular dislocation. Results in 12 cases

摘要: Twelve patients were operated upon after unsuccessful conservative treatment for complete dislocation of the sternoclavicular joint. Three methods used; stabilisation using fascial loops, reconstruction with a tendon graft, and resection sternal end clavicle. The results good in only four patients, three treated graft one by loops. Another had fair results, but all medial clavicle poor pain weakness upper extremity. In our opinion should not be used old traumatic dislocation.
