摘要: Disclosed is an optical transmission system and module which includes a negative dispersion, dispersion compensating fiber coupled to micro-structured (such as band gap fiber, photonic crystal or holey fiber) for the accumulated in fiber. The accordance with invention provides substantially equal compensation of total over operating wavelength band, reduced overall length, lower insertion loss.
