摘要: We report the isolation and characterization of a chicken gene, GSX, containing homeobox similar to that goosecoid gene. The structure GSX gene deduced protein are highly related previously described two homeodomains 74% identical. In first few hours chick embryogenesis, expression pattern is GSC, in posterior margin embryo young primitive streak. Later during gastrulation, genes segregate. GSC expressed anterior part streak, then node, finally pre-chordal plate. streak excluding demarcating early neural plate around overlying demonstrate GSX-positive induces while GSC-expressing neurulation. After full extension fate cells now characterized by undergo neurulation, those expressing gastrulation. discuss effect duplicated basic identity for generation chordate nervous system ontogeny phylogeny.
