摘要: Shell cracking in investment casting with webbed stereolithography patterns may be problematic during the pattern burnout process. It is due to maximum thermal stress generated ceramic shell exceeding modulus of rupture material at a temperature (i.e. temperature) which lower than both glass transition and web link buckling temperature. This paper presents finite element analysis (FEA)-based numerical simulation stresses For efficient simulation, an equivalent force technique developed for FEA. The predicted agree fairly well measured by strain gauges mounted on test samples epoxy patterns. Using analysis, three internal structures are compared. FEA results show that hexagonal structure 22% less square 32% triangular structure. useful development computer-aided engineering tools design pattern’s
