Banyan. X. Discovery of a Wide, Low-gravity L-type Companion to a Fast-rotating M3 Dwarf

摘要: We report the discovery of a substellar-mass co-moving companion to 2MASS J22501512+2325342, an M3 candidate member young (130--200 Myr) AB Doradus Moving Group (ABDMG). This L3 beta was discovered in search for companions at separations 3--18" from list 2 812 stars suspected be (< 500 literature, and confirmed with follow-up astrometry spectroscopy. Evolutionary models yield mass 30 (-4,+11) Mj age ABDMG. The J22501512+2325342 system appears spatial outlier bulk ABDMG members, similarly J22362452+4751425 system. Future searches objects around these two systems would make it possible determine whether they are part extension known distribution.
