摘要: We review our understanding of ionized plasma and neutral gas coupling in the weakly ionized, stratified, electromagnetically-permeated regions Sun's chromosphere Earth's ionosphere/thermosphere. Using representative models for each environment we derive fundamental descriptions constituent parts to other electric magnetic fields, examine variation magnetization component. these compare related phenomena two environments, discuss currents, energy transfer dissipation. present a coupled theoretical numerical study instabilities environments that serves as an example how chromospheric ionospheric communities can further collaborate. also suggest future collaborative studies will help improve different atmospheres which share many similarities, but have large disparities key quantities.
