摘要: Background Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The aim this study was to investigate the effects inspiratory muscle training (IMT) aerobic exercise on health-related quality life patients with COPD. Materials Methods This randomized controlled clinical trial conducted 60 moderate severe COPD, who were referred Imam Hossein Hospital Tehran, Iran in 2016. randomly assigned four groups treated for eight weeks. Group 1 (n=16) participated 16 sessions IMT (15 minutes per session), group 2 (n=14) performed exercises twice week (40 3 (n=15) exercises, 4 received no intervention, except routine treatments (control). Quality evaluated based Saint George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) at baseline, 4, 8 after intervention. Results After weeks, all experienced significant improvement their (P<0.05), (IMT exercise) showed greatest improvement. However, (control) less than other three (P<0.05). Conclusion Aerobic more effective protocols improving COPD patients. Furthermore, short-term plus had impact could be used management these
