Effects of Alternating Fresh and Saline Water Irrigation on Soil Salinity and Chlorophyll Fluorescence of Summer Maize

摘要: Saline groundwater irrigation is an important way to alleviate the shortage of fresh water resources. In order find a reasonable saline method for farmland, experiment was conducted with and at seedling, jointing, heading, filling stages. The soil salinity, growth, chlorophyll fluorescence, yield summer maize were measured. results showed that alternating led smaller increase in salinity relative alone. addition, different sequences also significantly affected accumulation salinity. maximum quantum yield, effective photochemical energy conversion, quenching, non-photochemical quenching varied greatly jointing stage heading stage. Furthermore, irrigated (8.53 t ha−1) greater than (7.69 stages (7.45 ha−1). Therefore, these findings indicate areas where scarce, priority should be given application irrigation.
