Deuterium retention in SiC coated graphite by D2+ implantation

摘要: Abstract The doped graphite tiles bolted to the active cooling heat sink, made of GBST1308 (1% B 4 C, 2.5% Si, 7.5% Ti) coated with SiC, are now being used as only plasma facing material (PFM) for EAST device since campaign 2008. From density and fueling point view, it is important study thoroughly hydrogen isotope retention in this kind SiC-coated graphite. D 2 + implantations into SiC were performed at Shizuoka University. chemical states Si C studied by means X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), thermal desorption behavior deuterium was analyzed (TDS). It found that trapped both coatings. In previous studies, Oya et al. reported polycrystalline β-SiC. paper, difference β-SiC coating will be also discussed.
