摘要: This study was carried out to investigate anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, alcohol metabolizing, and hepatoprotective effects of hot water (MOW) 80% ethanol (MOE) extracts from moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.) leaf. The total phenol content MOW MOE were 45.49 63.06 mg tannic acid equivalents/g, respectively. 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activities remarkably elevated in a dose-dependent manner, about 60.8% 71.3% at 1 mg/mL, respectively (P<0.01). Superoxide dismutase-like 2.8% 7.4% 5 (P<0.05). α-Glucosidase inhibitory activity also increased manner both extracts, higher two times than mg/mL (P<0.001). on metabolizing determined by measuring generation reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) dehydrogenase (ADH) acetaldehyde (ALDH). ADH ALDH significantly upon addition Anti-inflammatory examined lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. Nitric oxide production 32.1% 81.2% showed significant protective against tacrine-induced cytotoxicity Hep3B cells 100 μg/mL. These results suggest that leaf have great potential as natural health products.
