摘要: Chlamydia trachomatis (Ct) is not a disease subject to mandatory reporting in Brazil, and the prevalence rate of this genital infection varies according region which studies are conducted, as well by detection technique employed. Ct has been associated with persistence Human papillomavirus (HPV) facilitation cervical carcinoma development. We evaluated its association cytology, p16/Ki-67 dual-stained cytology intraepithelial lesions status screening cohort Brazil. This was cross-sectional study 1481 samples from asymptomatic women aged 18 64. Samples were collected for liquid-based polymerase chain reaction. double staining performed on abnormal cytology. Statistical analysis chi-square likelihood-ratio tests. Odds ratio (OR) 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) determined. The frequency 15.6% presence [OR = 1.35 (0.5–3.4)]. There also no between Ct-positivity [OR = 1.21 (0.46–3.2)]. Associations observed high-grade detected biopsies [OR = 3.55 (1.50–8.42) OR = 19.00 (0.6–7.2), respectively]. our had high but expression highest CIN (p = 0.003).
