Macrofungi in Mediterranean maquis along seashore and altitudinal transects

摘要: In semi-arid Mediterranean environments, fungal activity is fundamental for buffering biotic and abiotic stress to the plant sustaining a vegetation cover. Despite important role that fungi play in habitats stability, mycological data from ecosystems are scarce fragmentary. We investigated diversity several areas characterized by maquis, continental Italy, Sicily, Greece order contribute analysis of distribution, ecology, macrofungi evergreen sclerophyllous shrublands at different elevation distance seashore across Basin.
