摘要: Metal accumulation in sediments threatens adjacent ecosystems due to the potential of metal mobilization and subsequent uptake into food webs. Here, contents heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn) trace elements (Ga, In, Mo, Se) were determined for river waters bed that received sewage discharged from traditional semiconductor industries. We used principal component analysis (PCA) determine distribution relation environmental factors such as pH, EC, organic matter (OM) basin. While water PCA categorized three groups implied origins contamination, sediment only indicated a correlation between OM contents. Such discrepancy highlighted significance physical-chemical properties sediment, especially OM, retention. Moreover, we Se XANES an example test species transformation during transportation effluent outlets found portion inventory shifted less soluble elemental high toxic selenite selenate. The consideration is required develop pollution managements assess risks sediments.
